Coronavirus, Flu Season Update
We want to update you on what BGCWC is doing in the wake of coronavirus, flu season, and good health in general.
BGCWC’s facility is cleaned on a nightly basis. Every night, our cleaning staff does the following:
Use disinfectants to clean all surfaces, door handles, furniture, and electronics.
Clean, mop, sweep, and vacuum, all rooms in which kids have been.
Clean/disinfect toilets/urinals, sinks, soap dispensers, water fountain and paper towel dispensers.
We strive to make sure that our facility is clean and germ-free to the best of our ability every day, so our kids can be healthy and active. That being said, there are some things you can do as well:
Teach your children to wash their hands regularly.
Before and After every meal
After using the restroom, and
Whenever playing outside at parks, etc.
Keep hands away from your face, nose, and eyes
Whenever you sneeze or cough, be sure to cover your mouth with your sleeve or a paper towel/tissue.
Afterwards, go wash your hands
Never share food or silverware
This can also spread germs and could cause others to get sick.
And lastly but definitely most importantly. If you’re sick, stay home!
If your child is sick, please keep them at home and please do not send them to the Club.
If your child had a fever, they need to be fever free for 24 hours before returning to the Club.
